The events organized for the promotion of tourism were held in China, and now it is expected that the number of Chinese tourists will double.

These programs in Beijing and Chengdu were attended by a group of 75 Nepali hotel representatives and over 100 Chinese tourism experts, upon invitation by the Embassy and Consulate General's office of Nepal. The programs comprised a presentation on the Nepal Tourism Board and keynote speeches.

Delegations of the Nepali and Chinese tourism business community held meetings. The intention to attract more tourists from China in 2025 was harped upon, which would be achieved through a month-long campaign to project Lumbini as a unique destination for Chinese tourists.

A team of 75 Nepali hoteliers, comprising, reportedly just returned on 7 June, the president of the Hotel Association of Nepal and all other key members. This effort was, therefore, backed by the Nepal Tourism Board and regional associations.
